Twelve-year-old Daan is won over by his soccer coach through grooming. When this is revealed, Daan’s fight against his own shame and the reactions from his environment begins. Ries lures him into a secret adult world, where the sexual abuse begins. Soon, Daan ends up in a downward spiral – he skips school, starts fights and gets alienated from family and friends. When other boys report the abuse by Ries, the coach makes a confession. But Daan continues to deny everything, overwhelmed by shame.
